About the Event
DigiHealthDayS-2026 runs November 11 to 13, 2026, in Pfarrkirchen, Bavaria, Germany, and online. It's hosted by the European Campus Rottal-Inn (ECRI) at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (THD), and 2026 marks its seventh year since the forum's establishment in 2020. This year's conference is held jointly with the 29th Annual Conference of the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH).
Audience and Attendees
In February 2025, the World Health Organisation's Regional Office for Europe designated ECRI at THD as the German WHO Collaborating Centre for Digital Health. The forum is supported and endorsed by partners including ISfTeH, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA), the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI), and the German Society of Digital Medicine (DGDM), among others.
Programme Structure
The congress accepts full papers, posters, student theses and demos for presentation, with accepted papers published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Applied Interdisciplinary Research (JAIR). DigiHealthDay also runs a separate year-round series of workshops and invited talks by international experts and academia in digital health.
Main Topics
The forum's mission centers on bridging knowledge gaps and fostering international collaboration and networking in digital health, joined this year with ISfTeH's telemedicine and eHealth programme.
Closing Session
The joint congress runs through its final day, November 13, 2026, in Pfarrkirchen.
