About the Event
The Europäische Taximesse (European Taxi Fair) 2026 takes place Friday and Saturday, November 6 and 7, in Hall 1 at Koelnmesse in Cologne-Deutz. It is held every two years in November and is organized together with Koelncongress, following on from the 2024 edition.
Audience and Attendees
The fair draws drivers, taxi and hire-car business owners, industry associations, policymakers, manufacturers and suppliers from across Germany and neighbouring countries. As of late February 2026, around 55 exhibitors who had shown in Hall 1 in 2024 had already booked space for the 2026 edition.
Programme Structure
The supporting programme includes keynote speeches, expert talks and panel discussions, all recorded as they were at prior editions. Entry is free and parking is available on site. A yearly highlight is a prize draw, with a fully equipped VW Touran again offered as the main prize in 2026.
Main Topics
Discussions center on current developments in passenger transport law, future-proof drive systems and charging infrastructure, and the growing integration of taxis into public transport through concepts such as on-demand transit. Rides using specially converted vehicles for passengers with disabilities are also covered.
