About the Event

Global Cyber Conference 2026 (GCC26) runs September 1 and 2 at The Dolder Grand in Zurich, organized by the Swiss Cyber Institute. It marks the fifth year of the conference, and the 2026 edition is built around a single theme, Convergence, reflecting how cybersecurity, AI and quantum technology have become tightly linked disciplines that organizations now treat as one connected story rather than three separate fields.

Audience and Attendees

The event distinguishes between General Attendee and Vendor tickets, where a vendor is defined as anyone employed by a company that designs, sells or services security-related products; a vendor who buys a standard ticket risks cancellation unless they pay the price difference for a vendor ticket. Attendees holding ISC2 or ISACA certifications can earn up to 16 CPEs for attending. A standard ticket costs CHF 1,800 excluding VAT and includes networking breakfasts, coffee breaks and lunch on both days, an app with matchmaking features, and access to a pre-conference workshop and networking event at the Park Hyatt Zurich on August 19.

Programme Structure

Day one opens with registration and a networking breakfast, then a welcome address on the Convergence theme followed by short opening keynotes on post-quantum security and regional perspectives from the EU, the Americas, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Two opening panels, Global Convergence and Tech Horizon, lead into a networking lunch, and the afternoon splits into parallel roundtables and keynotes covering Supply Chains, CISO 2.0, Riskboard, Offensive ML and Risk Intelligence. A coffee break precedes a further round of roundtables, including Security Pioneers and Criminal AI, and the day closes with an exclusive gala dinner combined with the Swiss CISO Awards ceremony from 18:30 to 22:00.

Main Topics

Recurring subjects across the programme include security automation, the criminal use of AI, crisis simulation exercises, post-quantum cryptography, agentic AI and robotics, AI governance, data trust, and the new skills security organizations need as these fields converge.

Closing Session

According to the event's ticket terms, the conference closes on September 2 with a Closing Apéro Riche networking reception at The Dolder Grand.
