About the Event

QCrypt 2026, the 16th edition of this yearly international conference, runs August 24-28 at the Learning Crossroads (CRX) building at the University of Ottawa.

Audience and Attendees

The conference draws researchers presenting recent results in quantum cryptography. It includes lab tours of the Canada Excellence Research Chair quantum cryptography lab, a photonics lab and an ultrafast physics lab, organized with the Optica-SPIE student chapter.

Programme Structure

The event is an in-person conference built around a small number of competitively selected contributed talks and a larger poster session; the conference publishes no formal proceedings.
