About the Event

The Swiss Automotive Show runs August 28-29, 2026 at BernExpo. It's an event organized by Swiss automotive parts distributor Derendinger, now in its 9th edition and marking 10 years since the first show in Niederbipp in 2016.

Audience & Attendees

Around 150 exhibitors are expected in 2026, showing the breadth of Derendinger's product range to garage owners, mechanics, body shop operators, and auto painters. About 80 percent of exhibitors also supply OEMs, and seven of the ten largest European parts manufacturers are represented at the show.

Programme Structure

The show combines live product demonstrations with technical presentations, closing with an aftershow party on Friday evening featuring singer Veronica Fusaro and the band Naty Jane, plus a gala evening for Garage Plus and Carrosserie Plus partners.

Main Topics

Exhibitors present the current state of technology for automotive, truck, and body shop operations, covering areas such as vehicle lighting, high-voltage battery diagnostics, tire mounting, and dealer management software.

Closing Session

The show closes on August 29, 2026, in Bern, following the Friday aftershow party.
