About the Event

WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 runs September 22 to 25, 2026, at Hamburg Messe, organized by Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH. The fair occupies both the A-halls and B-halls of the exhibition grounds, with entrances at the central Messeplatz and on the east, south and west sides of the site.

Audience and Attendees

The fair is built around a professional audience from across the onshore and offshore wind value chain, including manufacturers, planners, financiers and suppliers. Its Global Partner is GWEC and its European Partner is WindEurope, with BWE, VDMA Power Systems and Messe Husum listed as additional partners.

Programme Structure

The show runs Tuesday through Thursday from 10am to 6pm and Friday from 10am to 4pm. The supporting programme is delivered across six stages: the Global Markets Theatre, Offshore Stage, Energy Transition Stage, Energy Storage Stage, Speakers' Corner and Recruiting Forum. A dedicated Recruiting Area in Hall B3 runs on September 24 and 25, bringing students, early-career professionals and employers together.

Main Topics

The 2026 edition introduces a first-ever Energy Storage Area in Hall A2, dedicated to storage technologies and system integration for the energy transition. Beyond storage, the programme addresses onshore wind plant development and repowering, offshore wind project execution, and the overlap between wind and the maritime industry.

Closing Session

The event page does not describe a formal closing ceremony. The fair's final opening hours run 10am to 4pm on Friday, September 25, the shortest day of the four-day run.
