About the Event
The Future of Marketing Kongress is an annual two-day conference organised by LSZ Future Connections and held at the Falkensteiner Balance Resort in Stegersbach, Austria. Now in its 2026 edition, the congress serves as the primary gathering for the Austrian marketing community, uniting practitioners from B2B and B2C organisations to exchange perspectives on the trends, technologies, and strategic challenges shaping the discipline. The format is deliberately designed to balance substantive content with an informal, resort-based atmosphere that encourages conversation and relationship-building across both days.
Audience & Attendees
The congress addresses senior marketing practitioners and decision-makers, including Chief Marketing Officers, Marketing Directors and Heads of Marketing, Online and Digital Marketing Managers, Brand and Product Managers, Customer Experience and Customer Relationship Managers, Social Media Managers, PR and Communications professionals, Event Marketing Managers, and Employer Branding specialists. The audience is predominantly drawn from Austrian organisations, with a mix of corporate marketing departments, agencies, and solution providers. A separate ticket category exists for consultants, agencies, and technology vendors.
Programme Structure
The programme runs across two full days beginning on the morning of April 28 and concluding with a farewell lunch on April 29. Day one opens with registration and welcome coffee from 08:30, followed by a plenary panel session and short keynote presentations in the late morning. The afternoon is structured around two parallel rounds of deep-dive workshops (Workshop B and Workshop C), each offering four simultaneous sessions for attendees to choose from. The programme transitions from content to networking in the early evening, with an aperitif, group dinner, and an informal get-together. Day two begins with an optional morning fitness activity, followed by a keynote block, a third round of parallel workshops (Workshop D and Workshop E), a final pair of closing keynotes, a wrap-up session, and a networking farewell lunch.
Main Topics
The 2026 programme is organised around a broad set of marketing disciplines with particular emphasis on artificial intelligence and its implications for marketing strategy and creative practice, including how to avoid commodification through AI-generated content. Additional subject areas include brand building as a strategic stabiliser, the convergence of employer branding and authentic communication, corporate influencer programmes and social selling, accessibility and inclusion as a brand and growth lever, sustainability in marketing, search engine optimisation as real-time market research, video content creation in the AI era, cross-functional brand communication and collaboration, customer centricity and voice-of-customer as growth drivers, and the integration of paid media and content in B2B brand development.
Closing Session
The congress closes on April 29 with a keynote titled "Eine Reise in die Zukunft des Marketings" (A Journey into the Future of Marketing), followed by a brief wrap-up and farewell by the stage host, and a relaxed networking lunch running until approximately 16:00. The closing sequence is preceded by a session from karriere.at's Marketing Director on brand evolution and relaunch, providing a practitioner case study as a final content anchor before the congress concludes.
