About the Event

IFA Berlin 2026 is the world's leading trade show for consumer electronics, home appliances, and future technology, held from 4 to 8 September 2026 at Messe Berlin in Germany. Organised by IFA Management GmbH, the event serves as the global platform where brands, retailers, investors, creators, and consumers converge to discover the technologies shaping everyday life. IFA brings together hundreds of exhibiting brands from 49 countries across dedicated show areas covering Smart Home, Computing and Gaming, Mobility, Home Appliances, Home and Entertainment, Beauty Tech and Wellbeing, Content Creation, and the IFA Next startup and deep tech zone. The event is open to both trade visitors and private consumers, with separate accreditation pathways for press, investors, and creators.

Audience and Attendees

IFA draws attendees from over 140 countries, combining a high concentration of trade decision-makers with a large consumer audience. Trade visitors include retail buyers, product managers, procurement executives, brand leaders, and technology investors, with international retailer buyers representing a significant share of the professional audience. Consumer attendees come from across Germany and Europe to experience hands-on product launches and demonstrations. Exhibitors confirmed for 2026 include Samsung, LG Electronics, Xiaomi, Hisense, TCL, Bosch Home Appliances, Panasonic, AEG, Haier Europe, Liebherr, Anker Innovations, FRITZ!, Acer, and many more across all product categories. Volkswagen features as a major automotive and mobility partner within the Sommergarten outdoor space and Mobility Track.

Programme Structure

The five-day programme is structured across three dedicated stages and five content tracks. The Innovation Stage seats up to 900 delegates and hosts headline keynotes, major press conferences, and flagship brand announcements. The Dream Stage, located within the IFA Next zone, seats 250 and is designed for more intimate, future-focused panels, fireside chats, and founder presentations. The Creator Stage hosts live podcasts, masterclasses, workshops, and creator-led sessions. Running alongside the main show, the IFA Retail Leaders Summit provides an exclusive closed-door gathering for senior retail decision-makers covering AI, commerce, logistics, and customer experience. The IFA Sommergarten delivers a festival-style outdoor music and entertainment experience each evening throughout the event.

Main Topics

The content programme is structured around five tracks that reflect the intersection of technology with business and daily life. The World of AI and Future of Tech track covers artificial intelligence applications, robotics, humanoid systems, wearables, smart and connected home ecosystems, quantum computing, spatial computing, and data governance. The Retail and Future of Commerce track addresses AI-driven retail transformation, omnichannel strategy, social commerce, and logistics and fulfilment innovation. The Marketing and Creativity track explores digital marketing, the creator economy, generative design, virtual production, and next-generation brand storytelling. The Culture and Lifestyle track covers entertainment, gaming, Berlin culture, diversity and inclusion, and the future of work. The Smart and Sustainable Living track addresses regenerative technology, ecodesign, circularity, repairability, raw materials supply chains, and sustainable product development.

Closing Session

IFA Berlin 2026 concludes on 8 September 2026 after five days of product launches, keynote presentations, trade networking, and consumer experiences across the Messe Berlin grounds. The IFA Sommergarten outdoor festival runs across the event weekend, providing a social and cultural programme that extends the IFA experience beyond the exhibition halls and brings the broader Berlin community into the event's orbit.
