Programme Structure

Day 1 on 29 September opens with a plenary covering macro risk, global regulatory outlook, and fund structuring innovation, followed by sessions on retail investor operationalisation and operating model transformation. The afternoon runs two parallel streams: Stream A on emerging technologies and risk management, and Stream B comprising invite-only closed-door simulation exercises for CFOs and COOs only, covering investor onboarding risk, operational mistakes, fraud response, and AI in treasury management. Speaker-hosted lunch tables on Day 1 address topics including secondaries, M&A, ESG reporting, centralising treasury, and valuation standards. Day 2 on 30 September covers leadership in the AI-first economy, AI and cybersecurity compliance, continuation vehicles, operating model scalability, and the operational due diligence burden. Stream B on Day 2 features further closed-door C-suite sessions on board transparency, LP feedback management, and supplier management.

Main Topics

The agenda spans the full operational and compliance agenda for Asian private capital firms. Key themes include navigating macro risk and geopolitical complexity across multi-jurisdictional fund structures; global regulatory priorities including AML, KYC, and virtual assets; the growth of evergreen and retail-facing fund structures and their operational implications; the practical application of AI across fund administration, treasury management, and cybersecurity; automation and what GPs should prioritise; NAV lending governance; operating model transformation for small and mid-size firms; the challenge of scaling beyond the $500 million AUM inflection point; continuation vehicles and conflict-of-interest management; the evolving role of the C-suite in an AI-first environment; talent consolidation and hiring strategy; operational due diligence burdens; and managing transparency obligations to boards and LPs.

Closing Session

Day 2 concludes with the chair's closing remarks at 3:00pm on 30 September 2026, bringing SuperReturn CFO/COO Asia 2026 to a formal close following the afternoon's parallel compliance, finance, and closed-door C-suite sessions.
