About the Event

aiHealth2026 is the 3rd International Annual Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Health, running November 10-11, 2026 at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) in Muttenz, just outside Basel. Over one and a half days, the conference looks at how AI is changing diagnostics, therapeutics, and population health.

Audience & Attendees

The conference is co-chaired by Prof. Dr. Enkelejda Miho and Prof. Dr. Erik Schkommodau, both of FHNW. Confirmed speakers include Marta Kwiatkowska of the University of Oxford and Trinity College. The event is aimed at industry partners, clinicians, and academics working in AI and health.

Programme Structure

The conference is organized around three sessions: AI for Diagnostics, AI for Therapeutics, and AI in Citizen Health, each combining presentations with interactive panel discussions on emerging AI applications.

Main Topics

Sessions cover individualized diagnostics, AI-driven therapeutics, and mapping the population health-disease continuum through future citizen twins, with discussion of how traditional and digital medicine may merge through digital twins for health.

Closing Session

The conference closes at the end of its second day, November 11, 2026, after the AI in Citizen Health session.
