About the Event
CYBERUK is the UK government's flagship annual cybersecurity conference, produced by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) - part of GCHQ. The 2026 edition marks the NCSC's 10th anniversary and returns to Glasgow, running April 21-23 at a venue in the city. The event draws 2,500+ cybersecurity leaders and technical professionals from across UK and international government, industry, and academia. Over 150 sponsors and exhibitors are present across the Expo floor, and the programme includes 30+ hours of conference sessions, 100+ expert speakers, and 10+ hours of exclusive networking events across the city. CYBERUK 2026 is both a celebration of the decade of progress since the NCSC was founded and a forward-looking call to action - anchored by the conference theme "The Next Decade: Accelerating Our Cyber Defence." The event is CPD accredited. An online attendance option, CYBERUK Online, provides access for those unable to attend in person.
Audience & Attendees
CYBERUK is designed for the breadth of the UK and international cybersecurity community: CISOs, security architects, threat intelligence analysts, security operations professionals, policy and government leaders, academics, and cyber practitioners at all levels. Attendance requires an application and approval process. A dedicated closed, invite-only CISO Track runs within the programme for the most senior cohort of thought leaders, convened directly by the NCSC. Technical professionals with advanced practitioner experience are served by the dedicated Technical Talks track with detailed, expert-led briefings on current and future technical challenges. The event is managed by Brayleino Events on behalf of the NCSC, with support from the Glasgow Convention Bureau.
Programme Structure
The three-day programme runs across multiple simultaneous formats. A 3,000-seat auditorium hosts the main plenary sessions bringing together UK and international cyber leaders across government, industry, and academia for the conference theme conversations. Five themed content tracks run in parallel: Resilience & Response; Digital Transformation & Innovation; Threat Intelligence & Adversary Insight; People, Skills & Market; and Co-creation Sessions developed jointly by government and industry sponsors. A dedicated Technical Talks track delivers advanced in-person technical briefings for experienced practitioners. A closed CISO Track runs across select sessions. The Spotlight Stage in the Expo hosts 5-minute Lightning Talks during breaks throughout the day. The Expo itself houses 150+ sponsors and exhibitors. Networking events - including evening social events across Glasgow - are built into the programme across all three days.
Main Topics
The 2026 programme is structured around the theme "The Next Decade: Accelerating Our Cyber Defence" and five confirmed content tracks. Resilience & Response covers rapid-response frameworks, real-time threat sharing, critical infrastructure protection, incident recovery, and the policy and legislative changes needed to enable defence at pace and scale. Digital Transformation & Innovation addresses technology governance, standards, secure digital transformation, proven security solutions and their tradeoffs, and embedding enduring security for the decade ahead. Threat Intelligence & Adversary Insight focuses on accelerating the ability to identify, analyse, and anticipate threats from state actors and cybercriminals, with sessions from leading UK and international intelligence and security experts. People, Skills & Market explores workforce development, cybersecurity standards and assurance, and building a thriving and trusted UK cyber industry. Co-creation Sessions are developed collaboratively by government and industry sponsors to address live challenges in real time.
Closing Session
The conference closes on April 23. CPD documentation is provided to attendees following the event. On-demand access to select sessions is available through CYBERUK Online.
