About the Event
Deutscher Pflegetag 2026 takes place November 12 and 13 at hub27 on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. It's organized directly by representatives of the nursing profession as the only national event of its kind run by nurses for nurses, and the 2026 edition will be held as a purely in-person congress, though selected sessions are recorded and made available afterward to all ticket holders.
Audience and Attendees
The congress addresses nursing professionals, nursing students, and nursing managers alike. Its programme board describes the 2026 edition as the central event for all professionally active nurses in Germany, raising themes of professional autonomy, co-determination, responsibility, competency development, and future-oriented education pathways.
Programme Structure
The conference programme combines specialist talks, panel discussions and practice-oriented workshops alongside a trade exhibition. Tickets grant access to all sessions across both congress days, with a separate Junge Pflege Kongress (Young Nursing Congress) track for students and trainees, plus a congress bag with information materials.
Main Topics
The programme brings nursing practice, politics, science and administration together to discuss current challenges and perspectives in nursing, with an emphasis on professional autonomy, competency development, and the profession's role in health-related population protection.
Closing Session
The congress runs through its final day, November 13, 2026, in Berlin.
