EuroBLECH 2026 is the 28th International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, held from 20 to 23 October 2026 at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds in Germany. Organised by RX and held biennially, EuroBLECH is the world's largest dedicated trade fair for sheet metal working technology and the industry's central global marketplace for knowledge transfer, manufacturing solutions, and international business contacts. The 2024 edition hosted 1,317 exhibitors from 39 countries across nine halls and 160,000 square metres of exhibition space, welcoming 38,946 visitors from 114 countries, with every second visitor arriving with concrete investment plans. EuroBLECH 2026 occupies halls 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 27 at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds, structured by technology sector across the halls. As a vertical trade show, it covers the complete sheet metal working technology chain from materials and blanks through forming, joining, surface treatment, and finished part handling to associated software and automation systems.
EuroBLECH draws a highly qualified trade audience with 62 percent of visitors working in senior decision-making roles, 81 percent involved in purchasing decisions, and 72 percent attending specifically to discover new products and technologies. Exhibitors are manufacturers and suppliers of materials, machines, tools, and systems across the full sheet metal working technology chain, with 62 percent of 2024 exhibitors coming from outside Germany, representing countries including the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, China, Turkey, Spain, and Switzerland. Visitors are primarily production engineers, manufacturing managers, plant operators, technical directors, and procurement professionals from the automotive, aerospace, construction, energy, electronics, and general manufacturing sectors. The top visitor countries in 2024 were Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and Italy. The Colleqt QR Code digital tool enables visitors to efficiently collect and manage exhibitor information and product data across the show.
The four-day programme combines the main trade exhibition with a structured conference programme organised around three thematic pillars: Smart Manufacturing, Sustainable Production, and Workforce Welfare and Productivity. Within each theme, expert-led sessions address current technical and strategic challenges facing sheet metal working manufacturers, drawing on real-world case studies, supplier presentations, and industry research. The exhibition halls are structured by technology sector, enabling visitors to navigate the event by process stage or product category across the complete manufacturing value chain. Digital tools including the Exhibitor Directory and Product Directory are available online ahead of the show, and the Colleqt QR Code system supports real-time information exchange between exhibitors and visitors on the show floor.
The conference and exhibition agenda addresses the full technological and operational agenda for the global sheet metal working industry. Smart Manufacturing themes include the application of AI in production processes, digital twins and simulation for improved decision-making, connected production environments using machine data and monitoring systems, and data-driven efficiency and performance tracking. Sustainable Production themes cover energy-efficient machinery and processes, material optimisation and scrap reduction, circular manufacturing and recycling strategies, sustainable and lightweight materials, and methods for measuring and reducing the carbon footprint of sheet metal operations. Workforce Welfare and Productivity themes address practical automation and robotics in production, human-machine collaboration, operator-friendly systems and user experience design, skills development and workforce training, and quality control and precision engineering. Technology sectors represented across the exhibition halls include sheet metal and tube, blanking and forming, flexible sheet metal working, tube and profile working, joining technology, surface treatment, handling and storage, tools and more, and software and automation systems.
EuroBLECH 2026 closes on 23 October at 17:00 following four days of exhibition, conference sessions, and international industry networking at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds. The 28th edition of the world's largest sheet metal working technology fair concludes having brought together the global manufacturing community across the entire technology chain, reinforcing Hanover's position as the biennial heartbeat of the sheet metal working industry.
