About the Event

IFAS 2026 runs October 20 to 22 at Messe Zürich. The organizers describe it as the largest industry meeting point for Switzerland's healthcare sector, held every two years, with this edition's offering and supporting programme expanded to better serve exhibitors and visitors.

Audience and Attendees

IFAS brings together doctors, nursing professionals, therapists, pharmacists, buyers and administrators from hospitals, clinics and care homes. The previous edition drew over 250 exhibitors and around 10,000 trade visitors, with more than 100 lectures, workshops and panel discussions, and confirmed exhibitors for 2026 include Bigla Care, Schiller, Nexus, Siemens, GE Healthcare, Roche Diagnostics, Meiko, Vitodata, Sysmex, trifact and Swisscom.

Programme Structure

The 2026 programme runs across three trade fair days and includes a Forum with lectures and panel discussions on the main stage, a Speakers Corner offering 20-minute talk slots on a second stage, a Presentation Cube for private customer events, a Networking Zone, a Startup & Innovation Park for young companies, a Spitäler der Zukunft (Hospitals of the Future) area, and CareFair, a Swiss job fair for healthcare professions.

Main Topics

The exhibition spans organization, facility equipment, IT and consumables, along with nursing and rehabilitation, and medical technology, diagnostics and laboratory technology.
