About the Event

The International AI Summit runs October 14, 2026 at the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) in Dublin. It's convened by the Government of Ireland as part of its Presidency of the Council of the European Union, officially launching European AI Innovation Month in partnership with the European Commission, under the theme "Harnessing AI to Revolutionise Europe's Competitiveness." Delegate attendance is by invitation only.

Programme Structure

The summit convenes EU and global leaders from business and government alongside AI experts for a full day of high-level discussion, and includes an Innovation Spotlight exhibition space demonstrating AI innovation alongside networking opportunities with international decision-makers.

Main Topics

The summit is structured around three core themes: Applied AI & Sectoral Value Creation across healthcare, life sciences, financial services, manufacturing, agriculture and public services; Infrastructure for building Europe's AI capacity, covering computing power, semiconductors, quantum technologies, digital connectivity and sustainable energy; and The AI Opportunity Ahead, covering agentic AI, quantum-enabled systems and workforce transformation, supported by cross-cutting strands on collaboration, talent and skills, and trustworthy AI governance.

Closing Session

The summit runs as a single-day event on October 14, 2026, officially opening the wider European AI Innovation Month, which concludes on November 17, 2026 in Brussels.
