About the Event
SuperReturn US West is the premier private capital conference on the West Coast, held at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills in Los Angeles on 14 and 15 September 2026. Organised by Informa Connect as part of the global SuperReturn series, the event brings together over 350 private market leaders including 100+ LPs and 150+ GPs for two days of keynote presentations, expert panels, interactive roundtables, and dedicated networking. The conference is co-located with SuperReturn Venture US West and SuperReturn Private Wealth US West, with a single pass granting access to all three events.
Audience and Attendees
The event draws a senior cross-section of the private markets community, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, and family offices on the LP side, alongside buyout firms, mid-market managers, private credit managers, and emerging managers on the GP side. Past LP attendees have included CalPERS, Employees Retirement System of Texas, Los Angeles Fire and Police Pensions, Allstate Insurance, Omidyar Network, and QIC. GP representation has included Leonard Green and Partners, Ares Management, Oaktree Capital Management, HarbourVest Partners, and StepStone Group. LPs are invited to attend free of charge and receive access to exclusive closed-door sessions, an invite-only breakfast, and a dedicated LP lounge.
Programme Structure
The two-day programme runs from morning registration at 8:00am each day through to a networking drinks reception on the evening of Day 1. Day 1 covers macro private market trends, LP allocation strategies, mid-market momentum, GP-led continuation vehicles, private credit consolidation, LATAM investment opportunities, resource security, evergreen structures, and private wealth dynamics, concluding with a geopolitics keynote and evening reception. Day 2 opens with AI integration in private equity, followed by sessions on LP distribution priorities, sports and entertainment investment, roundtable discussions, a Women in Private Markets networking lunch, emerging manager dynamics, fundraising strategy, consumer sector challenges, and healthcare resilience. Dedicated LP-only closed-door sessions run in parallel across both days, and over 6,000 one-to-one meetings are facilitated through the ConnectMe networking app.

Key themes include the impact of AI on deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio operations; LP priorities around DPI versus IRR and realised distributions; the evolution of secondaries and GP-led continuation vehicles; private credit consolidation and crowding; mid-market growth and value creation; LATAM nearshoring and reshoring opportunities; resource security covering energy, water, and national defence; evergreen and permanent capital structures; the democratisation of private markets through private wealth channels; geopolitical risks and trade policy; sports and entertainment as an emerging asset class; and healthcare and biotech resilience including the longevity investment theme. Roundtable topics on Day 2 address SaaS valuations, niche real assets, fiscal policy, the California tech exodus, and co-investment strategy.
