electronica 2026 is the world's leading trade fair and conference for electronics, held from 10 to 13 November 2026 at Messe München in Munich, Germany. Organised by Messe München GmbH and held biennially since 1964, electronica is the most important meeting place and source of inspiration for the international electronics industry. The 2024 edition attracted more than 3,480 exhibitors and over 80,000 visitors from around the world. The 2026 edition is guided by the overarching vision of empowering the All Electric Society (AES) — a future in which all energy needs are met by CO2-neutral electricity, driven by renewable generation, advanced storage, electromobility, smart grids, and AI-powered efficiency. The event is co-located with SEMICON Europa, the leading event for the microelectronics supply chain in Europe, which runs concurrently from 10 to 13 November 2026. The electronica Automotive Conference takes place on 9 November 2026, the day before the main exhibition opens, offering a dedicated high-level programme focused on automotive electronics. The broader electronica global network includes electronica India, electronica China, and the electronica Industry Portal for year-round community engagement.
electronica draws the most senior and internationally diverse community in the global electronics industry, spanning component manufacturers, semiconductor companies, system integrators, OEMs, design engineers, procurement specialists, software developers, and technology investors. The event covers every segment of the electronics value chain, from passive components, semiconductors, and PCBs through to embedded computing, sensor technology, power electronics, and electronic manufacturing services. Exhibitors range from global market leaders to specialist SMEs and start-ups, with representation from every major electronics-producing country across Europe, Asia, and North America. The four-day exhibition is structured across the Munich Exhibition Centre's halls by technology sector, covering the full electronics spectrum from automotive and semiconductors through to wireless, displays, test and measurement, and micro- and nanosystems. Energy Efficiency covers power electronics innovation, efficient energy conversion and storage, and the technologies driving reduced consumption across all electronic applications including EV charging infrastructure.
