About the Event
The Gartner IT Infrastructure, Operations & Cloud Strategies Conference is Gartner's annual dedicated event for infrastructure, operations, and cloud (I&O) leaders, with editions in London, Las Vegas, Sydney, and Tokyo. The 2026 London edition takes place November 16-17 at ExCeL London. The conference is positioned as the primary European gathering for heads of IT infrastructure, cloud architects, I&O operations leaders, and sourcing and vendor management executives, shaped by Gartner's ongoing research and over 200,000 annual conversations with the IT community. The 2025 edition featured 60+ Gartner experts, 120+ breakout sessions, and 40+ interactive sessions across 17 comprehensive content tracks - a scale indicative of the depth of specialist content the conference delivers relative to its two-day duration. An Exhibit Showcase runs during daily receptions, providing access to technology solution providers.
Audience & Attendees
The conference is designed for IT infrastructure leaders, heads of IT operations, cloud strategy and architecture leaders, data centre managers, sourcing and procurement executives, and vendor management leaders from large enterprises. The Senior Leadership Circle Programme - an application-required executive experience - provides senior I&O leaders with targeted sessions, curated discussions, and dedicated networking throughout the conference. A midsize enterprise track addresses the specific constraints and priorities of organisations operating at smaller scale. New-to-Role sessions are available for leaders who have recently moved into I&O leadership positions, providing accelerated onboarding to strategy and leadership fundamentals. CPE credits are available through ISACA and other providers for select sessions. Both Gartner clients and non-clients attend.
Programme Structure
The two-day programme delivers keynote sessions on the main stage - including Gartner opening keynotes and guest keynotes from external thought leaders - alongside a multi-track breakout session programme covering 17 specialist content areas, pre-registerable interactive formats including roundtables and workshops, peer Meetups, and structured networking. Daily receptions in the Exhibit Showcase provide structured access to solution providers. Private 30-minute one-on-one analyst meetings are available to all full conference pass holders and are booked in advance through the Conference Navigator app. A full 2026 agenda and speaker list had not been published at the time of entry creation; the 2025 edition opened with a keynote titled "Navigating the Hype: Strategic Roadmap to I&O Success" by Paul Delory and Autumn Stanish of Gartner.
Main Topics
The 2026 programme is structured around confirmed content themes drawn from Gartner's current I&O research priorities. Key areas include: agentic AI in IT operations - autonomous agents demanding new operational paradigms analogous to cloud's transformation of I&O; AI, GenAI, and machine learning applications for automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-making; hybrid cloud strategy - integrating public and private clouds, optimising resource allocation, and achieving seamless scalability; cloud resilience, disruption management, and cost and value optimisation; data centre, colocation, storage, and server strategy; I&O operating model innovation for agility and business alignment; sourcing, procurement, and vendor management transformation; cybersecurity and resilience embedded within infrastructure design; talent development and team upskilling for the AI era; and platform engineering - building developer platforms that drive adoption and business value.
Closing Session
The conference concludes on November 17. Session materials are made available to attendees through the Gartner Conference Navigator app following the event.
