About the Event
ineltec 2026 is the Swiss trade fair for the electrical industry, returning to Messe Zürich on September 9 and 10, 2026, in halls 3 through 6. It follows the successful 2024 relaunch after the fair's original run ended in 2017, and this edition expands into a larger footprint with three themed zones. The event is organized by MCH Exhibitions & Events GmbH in a deepening partnership with EIT.swiss, the Swiss professional association for the electrical trade.
Audience and Attendees
More than 180 exhibitors are already confirmed for the show, drawing visitors from across the Swiss electrical trade, including electrical installers, planners and engineers. The fair describes itself as a national marketplace for this professional audience rather than a general public event.
Programme Structure
The exhibition runs for two days, Wednesday and Thursday, both from 9am to 5pm. Two Speakers' Corner stages form the framework programme: one in hall 5 focused on exhibitor innovation presentations, and one in hall 3 focused on lighting, energy efficiency and emergency lighting. Training institutes and guided tours for apprentices also run alongside the exhibition.
Main Topics
The show covers electrical engineering and building automation, energy in buildings, e-mobility, infrastructure, lighting, tools and IT solutions. Lighting has been expanded into its own themed area for 2026, with existing and new brands presenting alongside contributions from the SLG and fvb associations.
Closing Session
The event page does not describe a separate closing ceremony. The fair concludes at 5pm on Thursday, September 10, after two full days of exhibition and Speakers' Corner sessions.
